#shake_me

Interactive dance performance by Frederic Deslias

Shake Me is an interactive installation / performance. The spectator can control the choreography of a dancer, directly by electrical impulses to the muscles.

The dancer has 10 chopped electrodes on his body (calves, thighs, forearms, arms, belly and upper back). Two touch pads are given to the public who can compose, via a step sequencer, musical rhythms coupled to activations of the electrodes.

An interactive dance experience performed by Matthew Morris directly based on the dancer / spectator relationship … and inspired by the Milgram test.
